ESIC Photo Size and Family Photo Upload Guide

Understand ESIC individual and family-photo uploads, prepare a clear JPG, and avoid common file-size and format errors.

ESIC upload searches often include two different needs: an individual portrait and a family photograph. Do not treat them as the same file. Read the label beside the upload control in your current ESIC workflow before preparing the image.

Individual ESIC portrait

For a single-person portrait, start with a recent front-facing photo against a plain background. Use the ESIC Photo Resizer to create a compact JPG, then open the downloaded result once to confirm that the crop is clear and upright.

ESIC family photo

A family-photo upload may need multiple people visible in one image. Arrange the requested family members clearly in the source photograph before resizing. Do not crop the family image like a passport photo.

Upload checklist

1. Check whether the portal requests an individual photo or a family photograph. 2. Confirm the current accepted format and KB limit on the live ESIC screen. 3. Use a clear original image with even lighting. 4. Download a fresh JPG and inspect it before upload. 5. Keep the original file until your submission is complete.

If a supporting document is too large

Use Compress Image to KB for scanned JPG files or Compress PDF for PDF proofs. A document upload and a portrait-photo upload can have different limits.

Always follow the current instructions displayed by the official ESIC workflow because requirements can change.
